More assignments - fewer hours
The number of ambulance assignments in 2007 was 550 000, up by approximately 4 per cent from 2006, while the number of operating hours was reduced by 4 per cent to about 84 000 hours per week. There are differences between the regions. The number of ambulances remained stable from 2006 to 2007.
