Your answers are valuable
Statistics Norway conducts a monthly survey to map the rental price in a sample of Norwegian rental dwellings.
We have drawn a sample of 2 500 dwellings among rental dwellings that participated in the Housing Conditions Survey. The dwellings participate in the Housing Panel Survey for twelve months. You will receive an e-mail and SMS from us if you are selected to answer the survey.
Sometimes we contact the lessors to get necessary additional information. Lessors participate in a separate survey online.
We will ask you about what you pay for rent. If there has been a change in rent since last month, we will ask you about the cause.
It only takes a couple of minutes to answer the survey.
You can answer the survey online.
To answer online, use the link sent to you in the e-mail or SMS at the beginning of every month. You can answer in Norwegian bokmål, Norwegian nynorsk, English, or Polish.
You can also answer the survey on the telephone. If you want to contact an interviewer within short time, you can call 62 88 56 08 after 3 PM.
The survey should work on all browsers and devices (mobile, PC, tablet). If you experience technical problems, it can still be a good idea to try a different browser or device.

We need answers from everyone, and we cannot replace you with another person if you do not participate. Your participation is voluntary, but your answers will contribute to better statistics on the rental prices in Norway.
We want you to answer the survey even if there have been no changes in the rent in the last month.
- Everyone working at Statistics Norway will treat your information confidentially. Individual answers will not be disclosed.
- You can tell Statistics Norway to delete your answers at any time.
