The house price index measures developments in the value of the housing stock. Despite the normal drop in house prices between
the 3rd and the 4th quarter, house prices increased by 5.8 per cent from the 4th quarter of 2013 to the 4th quarter of 2014.
Price index for existing dwellings, Q4 2014
Errors have been found in the Index for small houses in northern Norway for the period 2nd quarter 2012-1st quarter 2014. This has also affected the total figures. The figures that were corrected were the house price index, total figures and the zone northern Norway, for the 4th quarter of 2013 and likewise for the year 2013. Updated figures for this period are available in StatBank .
