Now you have come to the page, Choose variable. This page give you the oportunity to select which variables and values you want to display in your result of the table. A variable is a property of a statistical unit. The page is divided into several boxes, one for each variable, where you can select values by click to highlight one or more values. It always starts with the statistics variable which is the main value counted in the table.

Military colleges

Large reductions in completed educations from the 2000/01 school year occurred due to reorganisation of course curriculums and a reduced intake of students. Up until the 2003/04 school year, completion of yearly courses and components of degrees were included in the statistics. From the 2004/05 school year, the statistics were changed to count only completion of full degrees, leading to a further reduction in numbers. Furthermore, some military colleges failed to report their graduations in 2004/05 to Statistics Norway.

Other university colleges

Includes Oslo National Academy of the Arts, Bergen National Academy of the Arts, Norwegian Police University College and private colleges.

level

Short

Including graduations from programmes 4 years or less, but also 2 years or longer.

Long

Including graduations from programmes longer than 4 years. Doctoral degrees are not included.
