Quality indicators refer to results and throughput rates of pupils/apprentices. Since 2007 indicators also show rates of progress from upper secondary level 1 to level 2. Since 2008 also choices of further education including drop out after upper secondary level 2, illustrated in separate figures for general studies and vocational education. See list over changes in regional classifications (in Norwegian).
