Obs:

Subsidiary enterprises under direct or indirect control by norwegian own enterprises. The quality of the statistic is affected by the quality of the data that is reported.
The sample is based on a cut-off sampling survey. The sampling survey covers the largest Norwegian enterprises with activity abroad. The size of the sampling survey has increased since the first year (2008), but all the largest enterprises have been included the whole time. The variables employee benefits expense and gross investments where first reported for the reference year 2021. There may be an uncertain amount as it is the first time reporting.
