Footnotes
Until 2020, respondents were asked about participation in non-profit organizations, human rights, or humanitarian aid, and membership in organizations that work with environmental or animal protection in the same question. As of 2020, respondents will be asked about participation in organizations that work with environmental or animal protection in a separate question.
As of 2020, some of the questions have been changed and are therefore not completely comparable with previous years. This includes:
- 'Active member of a voluntary organisation working with human rights, humanitarian issues or other form of aid'
- 'Have done voluntary work for organization working with human rights, humanitarian issues or other form of aid'
