Household income is in this context devided in five equal sizes - quintiles. 1. quintile equals the 20 per cent of the households with 10th graders with the lowest income while 5. quintile is the 20 per cent with the highest income. Due to government's decision to cancel exams in lower secondary school, lower secondary school points in 2020, 2021 and 2022 are only based on overall achievement marks and are therefore not comparable with lower secondary school points from other school years.
