Man-years health centres by education Data source: Registerbased employment statistics and KOSTRA-form 1 Statistics Norway has adopted a new method that provides better information on settled percentage of full-time equivalent (FTE) from 2015. Read more about the new method here; https://www.ssb.no/arbeid-og-lonn/artikler-og-publikasjoner/ny-metode-gir-bedre-informasjon-om-arbeidstid. There was a larger increase than normal in man-years between 2020 and 2021. This is due to several municipalities including temporary personnel involved in Covid-vaccination in the health center services and school health services (86.903). The personnel should have been included in Standard Industrial Classification number 86.904. This effects the comparison of figures from the two years on national level and for some municipalities, counties and KOSTRA-groups. Presumably some man-year figures are still a bit too high in 2022. The man-years figures at the municipal level do not take into account any purchases and sales over municipal borders. Also, It doesn’t take into account inter-municipal cooperation. If several municipalities have inter-municipal cooperation on different personnel, the man-years will only be registered on the host municipality. Statistics Norway has revised its KOSTRA classification of municipalities from and including 2020. As before, the dimensions along which municipalities are classified are population size, economic workload, and economic capacity. Nevertheless, an update has been carried out as a result of the municipality reform, effective since 2020. The revision updates the composition and numbering of KOSTRA groups. The revision is discussed (Norwegian) in https://www.ssb.no/offentlig-sektor/artikler-og-publikasjoner/gruppering-av-kommuner-etter-folkemengde-og-okonomiske-rammebetingelser-2020
