Cost index for road goods transport, Q1.666666666666666667 2001

The total cost index for road goods transport increased by 0.2 per cent the last month. During the last 12 months the increase was 2.6 per cent.

The index for repair and service costs has increased by 2.6 per cent from May 2000 to May 2001. The last month the increase was 0.5 per cent.

The sub-index for capital costs increased by 0.4 per cent from April to May. This sub index has increased by 5.8 per cent the last 12 months.

The fuel index decreased by 0.5 per cent from April to May. From May 2000 to May 2001 the fuel index has decreased by 6.8 per cent.

The other sub-indices showed little or no change from April to May.
