Cost index for road goods transport, Q0.666666666666666667 2005

The total cost index for road goods transport increased by 0.2 per cent from January 2005 to February 2005. Over the last 12 months the total costs have increased by 3.7 per cent.

Increase in wages and social costs

The wage index has increased by 0.7 per cent for the last month. Over the last 12 months this index has increased by 3.4 per cent.

Increased administration costs

The administration costs increased by 0.4 from January to February. Over the last 12 months this index has increased by 2.4 per cent.

Higher capital costs

The index for capital costs increased by 0.4 per cent from January to February. In the last 12 months this index, which is composed by depreciation and amortization, interest costs and annual fee, has increased by 1.6 per cent.

The other sub-indices show little or no change over the last month.
