Unchanged total transport costs

The total cost index for road goods transport was unchanged from February 2007 to March 2007. Over the last 12 months the total costs have increased by 3.6 per cent.

The sub-index for repair and service costs increased by 0.7 per cent from February to March. In the last 12 months, this index has increased by 5.2 per cent.

Increased tyre prices

The tyre index has increased by 0.7 per cent the last month. Over the last 12 months this sub-index has increased by 7.2 per cent.

The other sub-indices show no change over the last month.
