No external users have access to the statistics and analyses before they are published and accessible simultaneously for all users on ssb.no at 8 am. Prior to this, a minimum of three months' advance notice is given in the Statistics Release Calendar. Production
-
The population is limited to cover Svalbard. The national scale is used for comparisons of employment figures. The statistics cover employment, revenue and expenditure.
-
Employment figures are based on publications and raw data from Statistics Norway. Revenue and expenditure figures are based on the central government's fiscal account and the Svalbard account.
These statistics are derived from the whole population.
-
Employment figures are calculated on the basis of data gathered for other statistics. Revenue and expenditure figures are based on publicly available data from the central government’s fiscal account.
Figures are checked against the source data and tested for reasonableness.
Some aggregations and calculations of percentages are made.
-
Not relevant
-
All source data is publicly available.
-
The time series for expenditure is based on sources that have been consistent over the period covered by the statistics. The time series for employment is relatively short and the data sources are consistent.

-
The publication is based on publicly available data that is expected to be of a high quality.
There is some uncertainty regarding some of the expenditure figures from sources outside the Svalbard account.
No other sources of error have been identified.
