Up to and including 2020, full-time and part-time was calculated based on contractual/ordinary hours and, if relevant, in up to two jobs. There was a restructuring of the LFS in 2021 (see About the statistics for more information). Starting from 2021, full-time and part-time is calculated based on ordinary working time, and (for those with several jobs) only based on the ordinary working time in the main job. Both before and after the restructuring in 2021, working time less than 32 hours are defined as part-time, 37 hours or more as full-time, and 32-36 hours as either part-time or full-time based on the respondents' own classification. Starting from 2021, respondents whose usual work time vary classify it as either part-time or full-time. Consequently, change figures between 2020 and 2021 should be interpreted with caution. The figures in the table covers persons aged 15-74 years.
