Now you have come to the page, Choose variable. This page give you the oportunity to select which variables and values you want to display in your result of the table. A variable is a property of a statistical unit. The page is divided into several boxes, one for each variable, where you can select values by click to highlight one or more values. It always starts with the statistics variable which is the main value counted in the table.
Navigating with keyboard and screenreader. Select multiple object in row: SHIFT+arrow down/up. To select a single value in the listbox: Windows:Hold Ctrl + arrow down. Then release Ctrl and press space. Repeat. Mac:CMD+arrow down/up. Then release CMD and press spacebar. Repeat. (Works only in Chrome, not in Safari). To exit listbox with values selected, press TAB-key.

Number of selected data cells are:
(maximum number allowed is 300 000)
Number of selected cells exceeds the maximum allowed 300 000
New methods in the EU Renewable Energy Directive from 2021, among other things for biofuels, implies a break in timeseries, and a somewhat lower renewable share for transport, from 2021.

contents

1. Renewable electricity generation with normalized hydro- and wind generation (GWh)

In calculating the contribution of hydro and wind power, the effects of climatic variations is smoothened through the use of a normalisaton rule.

2. Total gross electricity consumption (GWh)

Total electricity production + imports - exports - production from pumped hydro.

3. Renewable energy for heating and cooling (GWh)

Final renewable energy consumption in all sectors but transport, except electricity- and heat consumption. Production of renewable district heating and energy from heat pumps is included.

4. Total energy for heating and cooling (GWh)

Includes total energy consumption in all sectors but transport, except electricity consumption. Renewable energy from heat pumps is added.

5. Gross final consumption (GWh)

Includes total energy consumption, distribution losses for electriciy and heat, and consumption of heat and electriciy in district heating and electricity production.

7. Statistical transfers to be added (GWh)

Transfers from the joint electricity certificate market with Sweden.
