Establishment or enterprise is not anonymized in this table, in accordance with section 7(3) in the Statistics Act: an exception can be made «if the data are available to the public». The statistical unit (employee, establishment or enterprise) is not anonymized in this table, in accordance with section 7(3) in the Statistics Act: an exception can be made «if the data are available to the public». The data source used in this table is available to the public through the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities, hence the exception applies. In this table the term «employees» equals the term «jobs (employments)», i.e. one person can have several jobs, but freelancers, contractors and fee recipients are not included. The table does include ordinary and maritime jobs (employments), all age groups, residents as well as non-residents. Self-employed are not included. In contrast, the register-based employment statistics, includes the main job (employment) for employed persons (employees and self-employed) aged 15 to 74 who are residing in Norway. The population of «employees» in this table corresponds to the population of the «Number of employments and earnings» statistics. However, the latter also includes freelancers, contractors and fee recipients.
