The figures are break adjusted because of a break between 2020 and 2021. Man-weeks worked is not break adjusted due to problems inseparating the possible effect of the corona crisis from the effect of the restructuring of the LFS. The table does not contain population figures for the years 2006-2008. See About the statistics for more information.

The tabel contains three series: not seasonally adjusted monthly figures, seasonally adjusted monthly figures, 3-months moving average of the seasonally adjusted figures and trend. The 3-months moving average is named after the middle month. Since there is a high level of volatility in the seasonally adjusted and the not seasonally adjusted monthly figures, we recommend using the trend figures and/or the 3-months moving averages of seasonally adjusted monthly figures.
