More goods across the border by lorry

Almost 3 million tonnes were carried by lorries in and out of the country in the first quarter of 2007. This is 11 per cent more than in the corresponding quarter of 2006. The Norwegian lorries had 46.4 per cent of this transport, while the Swedish cars carried 30.4 per cent.

These figures cover goods transported by lorries passing the national border on road. Imports and exports by lorry on ferry are not included.
