Decreased petroleum production
The production of gas and oil (including NGL and condensate) ended at 61 Sm3 million oil equivalents (o.e.) in the first quarter of 2011. This is a decrease by five percent compared the first three months of 2010.
The total production of oil (ex. NGL and condensate) amounted to 25.7 million Sm3 o.e. by the first three months of 2011. This is a decrease by 7.8 percent compared to the same period in 2010. Oil production alone made up 42 percent of the total petroleum production. The production of oil included NGL and condensate summed up to 50 percent of the total petroleum production.
There were produced 30.2 million Sm3 o.e. natural gas in the first three months of 2011. This is a 2.2 percent decrease compared to the first quarter of 2010. Production of gas constitutes just below 50 percent of the total petroleum production.
